After a wonderful collaboration with Simon, a Swiss artist, he agreed to answer a few questions so that we can know him better!

 

Can you introduce yourself in a few words?

S: My name is Simon Fidanza, I am 22 years old and I am an artist. I currently live in Fribourg, Switzerland.

How do you sign your works?

S: For the moment my artist name is "Similo", I sign my works like that. But maybe it will change... !

Where does your inspiration come from?

S: A lot of things are inspiring to me.I would say that the main ones are the emotions, the links and feelings between living beings.  I am also very close to the questions of nature and the movements of Life.

What about the jewelry you created in collaboration with Liv?

S: My inspiration is in the continuity of my research on the line and in connection with the living beings. We find there the Animal, the Man and the Vegetal.

You also posed for Liv when the first unisex jewelry was released, what do you think about men's jewelries?

S: I don't feel like jewelry should be for men or women. Everyone should wear what they like, for everything !

What are your plans for the future?

S: I can't say too much yet, but I have some projects in video, illustration, animation and tattooing... I'll let you know when it happens! Anyway, I can't wait!

What are your values as an artist?

S: Kindness, respect, freedom, love...

How would you describe your work in 3 words ?

S: "Hard to explain"! (laughs) More seriously, I would say: instinctive, emotional and naive.

And how would you describe Liv in 3 words?

S: "The family pride" (laughs). No, we'll say sleek, handmade and geometric.

If you could give one piece of advice to people who dream of getting into art, what would it be?
